Emily Gray Tedrowe is the Chicago-based author of the novels The Talented Miss Farwell, Blue Stars, and Commuters.

She earned a PhD in English literature from New York University, and a BA from Princeton University.

Inspired by the true story of the woman who pulled off the biggest municipal fraud in US history, embezzling $50 million in a period spanning more than 20 years.

Emily Gray Tedrowe, who lives in Chicago, is the author of the novels Blue Stars and Commuters.
